Hi everyone!
We survived College Comp II!!!! Honestly, I had fun. This has been one of the greatest classes I've had so far.
*What advice would I now give to someone writing his/her first scientific paper?
-I would definately suggest keeping the KU Handbook with at all times. You never know when you may need to varify citations or proper grammer for example. I would also suggest to keep in close contact with the professor if any questions come up during the writing process. Learn how to organize notes and information. Don't wait til the last minute to do any assignments. Time never seems to be on your side when your writing papers.
*What areas do I feel I strengthened in these last 10wks?
-I feel this class pretty much refreshed everything I learned from Comp I. I was able to exercise my writing knowledge more as well. The paramedic method is definately a life saver!
*What areas do I still need to improve on regarding my writing?
-I always say, Practice makes perfect! I still need to work on my APA a bit. Overall, I think I'm doing ok for a beginner.
*Final thoughts?
-It's been great learing and sharing with everyone. I really appreciated the peer reviews too. Suggestions are wonderful as well. I wish everyone the best in the future courses and careers. Hopefully one day our paths will cross again!
