Topic- Discuss my personal writing process and see what others have to say about my style.
There are seven pre-writing techniques. My favorite are Freewriting, Brainstorming, Listing and Informal Outlining. From my own writing experiences, depending on the type of writing I am doing determines which technique I follow. If I'm going to be researching non-stop, I'd perfer Freewriting. On the other hand, most of the time I perfer Brainstorming. This allows me to take breif notes while jotting information down. Listing is helpful when I'm organizing my information for each point I'm researching. I use Informal Outlining usually when I'm preparing to combine all the information I have researched. Now I know not every style works for everyone. Again, I feel the technique(s) maybe be influenced by the topic. If anyone has any comments or suggestions, feel free to add. Thank you!
