How do you feel about peer reviews? What have your experiences with them been like?

I personally enjoy getting feedback on what I write. I feel learning from peer reviews is a valuable experience. This helps to understand others views on what you've wrote, what you need to improve on or perfect. I have always appreciated constructive criticim. Sometimes I reread my writing over and over, sounds flawless to me but someone else reads it one time and finds errors. Yes, it bothers me a bit, since I feel it sounds perfect to me but then I realize what I need to work on to improve it. On the other hand, I enjoy reading others work and giving suggestions on improvement also. I still have a hard time finding kind words to express what I think needs improvement on theirs. I have no problem giving compliments, lol! So far, I haven't had any negative experiences from peer reviews. Or should I say no one's made me cry yet from criticim, lol. I think it helps alot being able to share are work online since we can't actually see each other (a plus for us shy people). Please feel free to add any thoughts or opinions. Thank you!
